I am compound around the same issue from a
long back. I have created one encrypted pdf file for
our project. In that i ve given user pwd as "uesr" and
no master pwd. Then it is fine. Now user has to open
this file by giving user pwd. Pdf writers not allow to
open the file also. So we are safe now.
But the problem is we want the user to be
allowed without entering any password. If i do like
that. pdf wirters are able to open the file. and users
are copying the text to the new page and they are
editing the text in the file and they are taking the
modified printout. It has to be avoided. User has
to be allowed only for printout. not for any other
operation like(copy, edit, ..) in pdf writer also.
Sorry.. for asking same question again..
Note: For testing purpouse i am using Foxit PDF
Editor.
My sample code:
PdfEncryptor.encrypt(readerobj,new
FileOutputStream(writeFile),
"user".getBytes(),"".getBytes(),PdfWriter.AllowPrinting,true);
