Hi guys,

First...great and well designed api!

My qn is this: I am generating a report that uses a very long table. Now, I am
generating a large page and writing to it. Is there any way to split up this
page into 2 pages, each page with half the width of the original page? I
searched a lot but couldn't find the answer.
More precisely, is there any way by which I can "cut out" pieces of a page using
iText, without caring abt the contents? Can I say something like..."give me the contents
of this pdf between coordinates (x1, y1) and (x2, y2)?
I would really appreciate an answer to this qn.

Read http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial/general/copystamp/
It tells you how to import complete pages.
If you only need part of the page, you could create a PdfTemplate
that is smaller than the imported page and add the imported page
to the template (negative coordinates are allowed).
That way, you'll have an object that will only display a fraction
of the original page.

Bruno
