Hi, I have downloaded used iText in one of our web application for generating PDF documents on the fly. Thanks for building such a nice utility. Part of my requirement is to provide support for displaying multilingual characters like Russian, Thai, Bahasa Indonasia, Arabic etc....Does iText support generating pdf documents using these language characters?
Have a look at this PDF file: http://www.lowagie.com/iText/gallery/pace.pdf It contains the word 'peace' in hundreds of languages. So yes, iText supports all kinds of characters provided that you have a font program that contains these glyphs. As for the documentation, you should start here: http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial/fonts/ br, Bruno ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
