The internals of Table/Cell were rewritten by Karsten Klein.
I did some tests with some reference examples and they all worked just fine.
The tables are rendered in a slightly different way, but in general they

better. For the moment we have only had one remark about broken
functionality.
We are still waiting for a small standalone app that reproduces the problem.
