I have lots of paragraphs, and I have no idea beforehand how big they will get, or how small, so defining x and y-positions beforehand (like you have to do when working with ColumnText) won't help me very much.
Yes it will.
Trouble is also, that if you start the ColumnText somewhere in the document, you have no idea where the actual y-coordinate is at the moment.
