That is ok. But will it happen in near future that the tags will not be supported at all and the parsing will not be possible.

There is hardly anyone around that will be able to tell you what all the
tags mean.
If you plan on using the iText XML tags, it would be best to write the
documentation yourself
and post it back to the project.
