iText won't change the image resolution. You'll have to do it
externally with JAI or something else.

Subject: [iText-questions] Nutze PDFGraphics2D um PDFs zu erzeugen - max. dpi einstellbar ???
Ich nutze PDFGraphics2D um PDFs zu erzeugen. Klappt alles sehr gut. Man kann ja angeben, dass alle Bilder als JPG abgespeichert werden sollen.
Kann man auch irgendwie einstellen, dass eine gewisse maximale dpi Zahl nicht ueberschritten wird:
soll heissen - wenn ich ein grosses Bild habe, dass allerdings nur einen kleinen Bereich des PDFs ausfuellt haben wir z.B. 700 dpi mit dem das Bild gedrucht wird.
Kann ich festlegen, dass > 300 dpi, dass Bild zunaechst verkleinert und dann erst dem PDF hinzugefuegt wird - das Ziel ist anstatt 700 dpi maximal 300 dpi fuer dieses Bild zu haben.
Bilder die z.B. nut 100 dpi haben, sollen nicht vergroessert werden um 300 dpi zu erreichen.
Wie mache ich sowas ?
