I want to apologize for my inability to clearly describe my process. I am
a former green screen developer moving to the jsp world. My vocabulary is
probably not up to snuff regarding the JSP/java world.

Here is the current process

We sell auto insurance over the web.
We allow people to create quotes for their auto insurance via the web.
After entering all necessary information via the web the requested quote is
sent to our mainframe and returns a rate.
The rate page is displayed on the web.

if the insured opts to buy the insurance we generate the necessary docs on
the web(Declaration Page describing coverages, vehicle ID cards, and Policy
jacket)

these pages are rendered to the web site and the client can review them and
print if they want. Our current process sometime encounters problems
during the preview and we have no process to reprint.

so...
We want to generate PDF files that are generated from the rendered JSP web
pages using Itext.

I sincerely hope this makes sense.

thanks
