I have created a new PDF document and added a java.awt.image, however, the image that is added is not positioned in the PDF document the same way it was in the image. The right side of the table shown in the image is chopped off in the resulting PDF document.
I am creating the document with a page size equal to that of the image I
am adding. Should the page size be slightly larger than the image?
Following is the code I am using:
int width = 1000;
int height = 1000;
Rectangle pageSize = new Rectangle(width, height);
Document document = new Document(pageSize);
FileOutputStream fos = new
FileOutputStream("MyReport-20060831105922.pdf");
PdfWriter writer = PdfWriter.getInstance(document, fos);
document.open();
BufferedImage bi = new BufferedImage(width, height,
BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
bi.setRGB(0, 0, width, height, pixels, 0, width);
Image itextImage =
Image.getInstance(Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().createImage(bi.getSource()
), null);
document.add(itextImage);
Attached is the jpg I am adding (via BufferedImage class) and also the
resulting PDF document.
Thanks for your help.
