Hello all, I have just finished the release of iText 1.4.6. The main reason to release this new iText version, is that fact that the code has undergone a thorough cleanup, performed by Xavier Le Vourch. During this cleanup some formerly unreported bugs were fixed. Mark applied some RTF bugfixes reported on the mailing list and in SourceForge bug reports. Paulo fixed some more PDF bugs and added support for Unicode in Annotations.
Meanwhile I have recend the 'Third Pages' of my book. This is the third version meant for proofreading. I will spend my weekend reading the book. Based on my corrections/suggestions, a 'Fourth Pages' version will be made. This 'Fourth Pages' version will be very close to the final version. Once the final version is done, people who have ordered the eBook and/or the paper book @ Manning will receive a PDF file that is much more appealing than the MEAP version. People who have ordered the paper book @ Amazon will have to be patient a little longer.
