We are looking to possibly use iText instead of current solution, I had a
question regarding it's functionality.
Does iText support all of the following features?
1. Merge PDF pages from existing documents
2. Extract PDF pages from existing documents
3. Add content, such as logos, watermarks, and page numbers to PDF documents
in foreground and background layers.
4. Add a new PDF page and create its content such as text, images or
graphics from scratch
5. Extract text from a PDF page's content including font and position
information
6. Fill in PDF form fields in PDF documents
7. Retrieve PDF form fields in PDF documents
8. Add PDF form fields to PDF documents
9. Delete PDF form fields in PDF documents
10. Add and retrieve PDF link and text annotations
11. Add bookmarks to PDF documents
12. Retrieve bookmarks in PDF documents
13. Set and retrieve document level information such as the author, etc.
14. Read encrypted PDF files
15. Encrypt PDF file using passwords and permission flags
16. Optimize a PDF file for fast web viewing (linearize)
17. 3-heights image to PDF converter, allowing you to import raster images
into PDF documents
