I understand -- just trying to determine if this is known issue with this type of document (that is, an Adobe certified document) or if others have been able to open this type of document before. I'll try to create a test case for the BC list as you suggest. I guess I can extract the signature from the document and provide that so there is no dependency on the iText libraries.
