My use of PageEvents, either interface or subclassed, has been very
successful within an IDE application (Netbeans 5.0).
Such PageEvent usage causes the app to fail in our production
environment - EMC/Documentum Method Server (Tomcat). Any attempt to
instantiate a class using PdfPageEvent or PdfPageEventHelper is the root
cause of the failure. Using itext-1.4.7, no difference with itext-1.4.2
Has anyone has success using PageEvents in a servlet like this? I
mention Documentum, but this part is just a Tomcat server.
