No, that's not better.
The XML parsing functionality in iText is also very old,
the XML examples that are used throughout the book will
give you an idea about my more recent views on XML parsing:
it's easier to write a custom XML DocumentHandler, than to
write XSL:FO or to work with iText TagMaps.
