Hey,
Thank you...thats what I presumed but just wanted to confirm. Looking into
the Graphics2D interface now.

The coordinate system that PDF uses puts 0,0 at the bottom left,

"Fixing" this is not even remotely easy. Don't try. Work with it
instead.
If you want something at the top of the page, you need to know how tall
the page is, and how tall what you're drawing will be. The coordinates you
specify will Almost Always define the lower left corner of whatever it is
you're drawing.
NOTE: If you really want to use "0,0 = top left", you can use a
PdfContentByte's Graphics2D interface, but I suspect that's a bit low-level
for you just yet.

*Subject:* [iText-questions] Absolute positioning
Hi All,
I am new to this list and new to using iText. I just want to do a simple
thing and set the absolute position of an Image to top left, so I call
.setAbsolutePosition(0,0)....surprisingly this puts my image on the bottom
left, and same with text. Looks like my pdf is behaving from bottom to top
sort of. Any idea why or how to fix this?
Ruskin
