There's a lot of confusion here. pdftk took a very old jdk 1.1 version
of iText because it was the only one that could compile with gcj. If you
have any problems with pdftk you'll have to talk to whoever create it.
If, on the other hand, you have problems using the Java iText version
then we'll be happy to help you.
