Thank you Bruno. The problem was in the filename being passed - it was
missing the ".PDF" extension.

Either I don't understand the
question, or this question
is irrelevant. To find out what you mean
let me ask you
some counter questions:
- from where are you
calling the create method?
- is the filename that is passed
something like "file.pdf"
- if you open the 'generic file' (whatever
you may mean when
using this terminology) a PDF
file?
If the answer to the last question is 'yes', I don't
see
how this would be a problem that involves us.
You can find
out the answer to the last question by
- opening the file in a text
editor: do you see PDF syntax?
- renaming the file to file.pdf: does
it open in Adobe
Reader?
