Hi, currently table cells generated with iText behave the way you described, expanding to fit the content. But within the RTF specification, it should be possbile to set at least a minimum height. I'm not sure if it is possible to reduce the height to less than the content height. I've never looked into this, so I don't know how it would work, but feel free to have a go at it.
