Hi!

I am using Fop 0.20.5 together with an xsl and xml file to create a pdf
file. The document has headers and footers containing static info but also
dynamic info (page x of y).

Now I am using iText to post-process this fop-created pdf document with
another PDF file created via ghostscript 8.56 and inserts the contents of
the second pdf file on page 2 in the fop-created file.

How do I get the static and dynamic header/footer info from the fop created
pages to be copied into the imported pages?

One way ( not very nice though ) could be to add empty pages in the fop
process and then fill these empty pages to with the imported data. Then of
course I need to get the actual page count of the gs pdf file and create an
equal amount of blank pages in the fop pdf.

Is there any other way to do this?

Best Regards Pekka
