Furthermore, in their infinte wisdom Adobe never
thought about letting proxy server + authentication
work in any Reader Version till date. What this means
that any POSTs or whatever you want to achieve will
not work for users behind a proxy (99% of all coperate
users). Proxy itself works, but not authentication.
