When I buy a box of thumbnails, I can't find any paperclips
inside. When I buy a box of paperclips, I find plenty of
paperclips inside. Can you tell me why I don't find any
paperclips in the box of thumbnails??? It's weird isn't it?
As already explained many times in answer to your question,
both on the mailing-list and to you personally, chances are
the single quotation mark isn't present in the first font
you mention. If the quotation mark isn't present, it can't
be shown.
You could try finding a glyph in the font that looks like
a single quote and replace the quote in your String with
the value that corresponds with that glyph.
You could try using FontSelector so that an other font
(for instance Helvetica) is used in case of missing glyphs.
