Thank you for answering! Nothing is hardcoded. I'm parsing a "xml" file tahat describe how pdf file should look. Everything works apart from this.
Font is Arial. >>If so, are you sure you are using the right encoding? How to choose encoding? I know that I need to change it but how? I found dome solutions on the net but no one works. http://exampledepot.com/egs/java.io/WriteToUTF8.html Best regards, Boris ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bruno Lowagie (iText)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Post all your questions about iText here" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2007 11:29 AM Subject: Re: [iText-questions] Swedish characters BorO :: Qnab System AB wrote: > My problem is swedish characters. If so, are you sure you are compiling your code using the right encoding? Is the "ÅÖÄ" read from a database or a file (XML, txt, whatever...)? If so, are you sure you are using the right encoding? If non of the above apply: how are you trying to add the String to the PDF? Using which font (does it have those glyphs?) and which encoding? br, Bruno ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
