AFAIK the bug was introduced on July 3, 2007 and it was discovered
less than a week ago. For some people (for instance the person who
discovered the bug), it's a very significant fix. For other people
it's a bug they would never have encountered.

We can't decide in your place if this fix is significant.
Are there any non breaking spaces in your data?
If so, they could be displayed as euro symbols...
