Don't use onStartPage, use onEndPage.
Get rid of the opacity stuff, if you read the book,
you'll understand that the example is about more
than just adding a watermark under existing content;
it's about adding a transparent watermark on top of
existing content. Also you start adding a watermark
only from page 2. Please take some more time
experimenting before posting questions like this.
