First things first: download the PDF Reference (it's available
for free). Chapter 4 is a good place to start reading. You'll
also need your Algebra book from high school because there's
a lot of Math involved. Note that I found out that PDF math was
slightly different from the math I've learned at school. The
PDF Reference warned me about this on page 207: "Many computer
graphics textbooks consider transformations of graphics objects
rather than of coordinate systems. Although either approach is
correct and self-consistent, some details of the calculations
differ depending on which point of view is taken."
