Yes okay, unfortunately I still have the "problem" and have managed to get
around it by trial and error.  When printing to a printers device context we
set the font size of the barcode font and it prints the barcode with the
expected height, x value and ink spreading.  So there must be a way to go
from one form to another.

Although Bruno's first post about setx, setbarheight and setinkspreading
helped.
