Hi XivaX, iText RTF supports MS Office 2003 using the RTF 1.6 specification. Other readers may or may not function correctly. When I run the example and open it in Office 2003 it functions correctly.
Be careful you did not open it with OpenOffice and then accidently save it and try to reopen it using Office as OpenOffice may modify the file when it writes it to disk.
