Hi Mark,

Yes, I have already tried getDocumentSettings().writeImageScalingInformation()

and getDocumentSettings().setOptionsForMSWord2000And97()

It changed the output, but it image sizes were still inconsistent for different images.

Thanks for replying though. I'll just tell the client that they'll need to install open office to print the document.

Hi,

have you tried this: http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial/rtf/documentsettings/index.php#

Unforatunately the only really supported version is WordXP or newer. Everything else, if it works brilliant, if it doesn't bad luck. I currently don't have the time to look at any issues outside of core bugs.

Hi Mark (or someone else that can help),

I found this question:

I am also experiencing this problem.

I see that you mention that you don't have a copy of Word 2000.
I also had this problem, but I managed to track down a Word 97/2000 Viewer
which gets exactly the same problem.

You can download this viewer from here:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,6314-order,1-page,1-c,alldownload
s/description.html

I've had to viewer working fine on Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Can you please look into this issue for me? It would really get me out of
a tight spot.

I have also attached some screen shots from the word 2000 viewer and open
office so it obvious what the issue is.

All the embedded images are the same dimensions but they go all screwy in
Word 2000. It's very bizarre.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide,

-Joel

Unfortunately I can't, as I don't have a copy of Word 2000. Here you are
pretty much on your own, if you find a solution, then I'll be happy to
integrate it, but I can't really help myself.

Greetings,
Mark
