That's a really old iText version but the problem is not there. That problem 
is that the PDF was created with errors, probably using PdfContentByte, 
where you can do whatever you want, including shooting yourself in the foot 
(or in the head).

Hi,

I am trying to find a sloution to my problem.

I am using Adobe Reader 8 and am trying to open a file that has been created 
in itext. Adobe reader is generating an "xobject error xf52" error message. 
If you look at the attached pictures, you will see exactly what the problem 
is <<xf52.jpg>>  <<cannotopenfile.jpg>>  <<properties.jpg>> .

Can you help please?
