Oops, sorry, I think I overlooked your question. I understand now you are parsing html strings (using HtmlWorker I guess) and want to have the font to be preserved when creating the PDF file. I've never used this iText funcitonnality so far (only creating files from scratch), I can't be of any help. But I'm sure someone else on this list will provide you the correct answer to your question.
