I'm sorry, but that's outside the scope of this mailing list. Please read a book or tutorial that explains how to create a war file. There is no difference between using iText and using any other jar (including the one's you wrote yourself) in a Tomcat application. In other words: your question is completely off-topic on this list. First learn how to create a Tomcat application (Tomcat comes with some splendid examples when you install the server), then come back if you have questions about iText and PDF. We'll be happy to answer them, but we're not here to teach people how to create a web application. I sincerely hope you understand our policy. You don't go to a butcher to buy bread, you don't go to a bakery to buy meat. We know how to work with Tomcat, just like a butcher probably knows how to bake bread, but it's not our business. best regards, Bruno PS: I hope this doesn't offend you, but your question is almost identical to the one mentioned in this FAQ entry: http://1t3xt.com/docs/faq.php?branch=faq.newbie&node=natural_selection If and when you survive the 'natural selection', you will understand that this FAQ entry isn't as cruel as it may appear on first sight. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
