that will make it easier to fine tune the application.
I think the reactions to your sample files show that
there's a need for 'more real life' examples.

Although I'm happy with the book (I use it extensively
myself), I feel now that it lacks 'real life' examples.
The small examples are OK to learn and understand how
some specific functionality works, but many developers
seem to fail when it comes to combining those examples
in a more complex application.

That's why I decided that if I write a second book, it will
be completely different. I will start from some real life
examples and use those to explain the functionality of iText.
In "iText in Action", I did just the opposite: I explained
the functionality and then created some "pseudo real life"
examples.

There's something to say for both approaches, so I'm kind
of eager to try them both (but it takes time, a lot of time,
to write a book).
