iText can generate 'normal PDF' as well as PDF/A and PDF/X. Doesn't it say in your assignment which standard you have to adhere to? The A in PDF/A stands for Archiving. The X in PDF/X stands for blind eXchange. With iText you can tell the writer to throw an exception whenever you use some functionality or some feature that is not allowed according to the standard you chose. br, Bruno ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list iText-questions@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions Do you like iText?
