My quick answer would be that iText is capable of opening any encrypted
PDF (created by LiveCycle or something else) as long as you provide the
owner password (not the user password). If the document was encrypted
without an owner password, I'd try the password "" (or a byte array with
zero length). Nevertheless: I should check myself if this works, and
my Acrobat 8 + LiveCycle is on another PC (not the one I'm working on
today).
