My quick answer would be that iText is capable of opening any encrypted PDF (created by LiveCycle or something else) as long as you provide the owner password (not the user password). If the document was encrypted without an owner password, I'd try the password "" (or a byte array with zero length). Nevertheless: I should check myself if this works, and my Acrobat 8 + LiveCycle is on another PC (not the one I'm working on today). -- This answer is provided by 1T3XT BVBA ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions Do you like iText?
