Hello This is my case:
* my watermarking application was able to apply watermarks and change security settings using old iText release ( itext-paulo-153) even on password protected documents (screenshot of document properties window is here: http://urtica.linuxnews.pl/~kbryd/itext_protected.png ) * now with the recent version of itext I get "PdfReader not opened with owner password" exception and according to http://itext.ugent.be/library/question.php?id=497 this is not a bug. My question is: how can I workaround it and make recent iText process protected documents _without_ owner password (I don't know it and I have thousands of documents which are password protected and only print and view is permitted). And perhaps one more question to understand it: does it mean that in old iText versions passwords were not taken into account?
