Dear iText-Support-Team!

i have the following problem:

I have a PDF-Template, with some Labels that should be filled in from my
ASP.NET Web application (Visual Basic), afterwards i want to open that PDF
Document to fill up manually some textfields and send them back to the
application.

If i use:

- PdfStamper: with PdfStamper you can only create a new file and not directly
write into the template (afaik)

- PdfWriter: quote about PdfWriter Class from the book (iTExt in Action): "The
major downside: All interactive features (annotations, bookmarks, fields, and
so forth) of the imported page are lost in the process."

is it possible anyway to first fill up a template (PDF with a AcroForm), and
then open and fill in some things manually and the get the data?

thanks for answers,

best regards

Thomas
