Lol, it wasn't a complaint, it was a question. And it was a valid question.
I would expect that if I used setCompressionLevel(9) that the resulting file
should be smaller than using no compression at all. It isn't.

If you can open the PDF with Adobe Reader,
you should complain to the GS people,
not to the iText developers.
