Hi, I am doing analysis on a project I need to work shortly, The project intends to create an PDF templete which has a number of fields and all those fields needs to be filled with the corresponding valves retrieved from DB2. I have specific doubts regarding the same..... * What software should I use to create the PDF (does it matter If i use any software that can create PDF or is there any specific ADOBE tool that iText supports) Any. * Can I use iText to make query to DB2 and get the fields to be populated on the templete to generate a filled out PDF? No. * If I dont use iText and use a java program to collect all the values that goes into the pdf templete fields, How can I pass that java object to iText program so that i can fill all the fields in the templete to generate output That's documented in the book and in http://itext.ugent.be/library/question.php?id=31.
