Hi SK,

have you tried this:

1. stamp your image to some absolute position on the pdf and pack the 
coordinates of the image into the xmp metadata.
2. later down the technical workflow, your client program can read the 
xmp data and get the position information of the image. With this 
information, they should be able to manipulate the stamp image.
