It can't be done, you can't alter the signature without making it invalid.

Subject: [iText-questions] How to add a Timestamp to an existing
PDFSignature

Hello,

I would like to know how to add a Timestamp to a PDF Signature with IText.
The situation is the following: I open a PDF document to sign it, using
IText and, after that, I close it. After some time (for example, a day), I
need to open the signed PDF document and add a timestamp to the previously
generated signature.

Could anybody be so kind as to tell me how can I do it, please?

Thank you very much in advance.
