This is a follow up to the prior question.

Attached are similar PDFs, one created by iText and the other by a 3rd party 
application we want to deprecate.

When the 3rdpty.pdf is printed under Linux through cups, it prints fine.  
However, when the itext.pdf is printed, the images are obscured.  Both print 
fine under Windows... but we need to print through Linux.

We are using the Graphics2D object for handling the images as specified on pg 
45 of the iText manual.
