Hi,first of all I want to thank you for the great book and the itext
library.
Here comes my question:
When creating pdf documents containing acroforms I sometimes get an
additional toolbar in Acrobat Reader that enables me to highlight all input
fields & checkboxes.
For some reason I don't get this feature if my page only contains text
fields. To be honest: I don't have a clue when this bar appears and when it
does not. When opening the itext-example pdf's I don't get the toolbar
either.
Any ideas what might trigger this "mark form fields" feature in Acrobat
Reader (I'm using Version 8).
When this feature is activated I face another problem: When the editable
fields are marked, the checkboxes and radiobuttons will be highlighted but
will not use my custom appearance. Instead they get rendered with some kind
of default appearance and I've no clue how to modify this "highlighted"
appearance.
Thanks for any ideas!
Cheers,
Daniel
