What page breaking algorithm do you want to use? Do you want to keep entire sections on the same page or do you want to avoid orphans and/or widows?
A simple way to find the height of an entire section is to preview the output: 1. Create a scrap document with the same pagesize, borders etc and render the section on it. 2. Read the current Y position. You can then compare with the space left on the current page of your document. /Klas > Charles Mason wrote: >> At present when the bottom of the page is reached iText just wraps on >> to another page, so it may end a page with a title of the next data >> set.
