Seen this before :

It was an issue regarding the Mime type of the data returned from te server. 
This could be configured in a different way in your web servers.

If the client is EXACTLY the same, than it has to be the server 
configuration (but it's a very strange problem; I've never heard of 
something like that before).

Instead of using MSIE, write something that gets the full stream from 
the server and compare the response headers sent by the webserver.
