I often use biterscripting for parsing html. Works good for me. There is a
sample script you may want to look at -
http://www.biterscripting.com/SS_RemoveTags.html . It shows how to remove
tags in an html document.

If you don't have biterscripting, download and install free at
http://www.biterscripting.com . Next, use the following command to install
sample scripts

script "http://www.biterscripting.com/Download/SS_AllSamples.txt";

This entire installation process should take no more than couple of minutes.
All sample scripts are now installed. YOu can now use the SS_RemoveTags
script. If you like, you can modify it to suit your purposes. All
biterscripting sample scripts are open source.
