I am using an electronic id of another guy so I would prefer not to sent the generated docs since it would have someonelse private info, i would have to generate the docs with dummy ids. But the point is perfect simple. Normally signed documents (with timestamp, reason and location) with itext, after that a jpg inserted in a specified position of the signed document through pdfstamper most generic code. With adobereader 8.0 and 8.1 I got the guy saying it was not able to fecth the signer and so (about everything else ok), and only if I put it the image on the first page alreadt existing, on a new page it was ok, with adobe reader 9 no problem, it treats the sameway the first or a new page. Just like I always thought it should do.
