Neena,
Hard to say with the limited information you provided. The most obvious  possible cause is that the file
that you have opened for reading is not a valid PDF file.

please help me..
while tring to run a small program i am getting some Exception and Exception is
Exception in thread "main" java.io.IOException: PDF header signature not found.
    at core.comlowagie.text.pdf.PRTokeniser.checkPdfHeader(PRTokeniser.java:201)
    at core.com.lowagie.text.pdf.PdfReader.readPdf(PdfReader.java:500)
    at core.com.lowagie.text.pdf.PdfReader.<init>(PdfReader.java:175)
    at core.com.lowagie.text.pdf.PdfReader.<init>(PdfReader.java:164)
    at helloworld.main(helloworld.java:30)


does anybody know what could be the possible reason for this error
