There is no such thing as "white space" in a PDF - so you can't measure it or
remove it.
However, if you wish to detect the bounding box of all content on the page and
reset the CropBox to those values (playing with the MediaBox is tricky!!) -
that's certainly a doable goal. Though not with iText :(.

I am new to iText, but I have a task to remove the whitespace from the edges of
my PDFs. How can I detect how much white space there is on each edge of the
PDF? I believe I would then adjust the MEDIABOX and CROPBOX and use the
PdfStamper to create the new resized PDF.
