I'm having a very difficult time following what that example does....seems overly complex....but maybe that's just me.
I'd like to read the contents of my logo pdf and add it to a pdf I'm creating.... Something like this: float couponHeight = 252f; float couponWidth = PageSize.LETTER.getWidth(); Rectangle rect = new Rectangle(couponWidth, couponHeight); Document doc = new Document(rect, 0, 0, 0, 0); ByteArrayOutputStream os = new ByteArrayOutputStream(5000); PdfWriter writer = PdfWriter.getInstance(doc, os); doc.open(); PdfContentByte cb = writer.getDirectContent(); ...add some content... doc.close(); ...add the logo from logo.pdf... ...save to file system... Is there a more simple pattern you can explain? If you do it that way, the template is only written to one PdfWriter object. You'd better write your logo to a separate PDF like is done in these examples: http://1t3xt.be/?X0003e6 http://1t3xt.be/?X0003e7 Then you can import that logo into different PDFs. The logo doesn't have to be written to a file, you could create it in memory if necessary. best regards, Bruno ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
