I am not as familiar with this, but you could write out one page at a time
and then merge them all at the end? Maybe someone will have a better idea.

Subject: [iText-questions] saving PDF directly to disk

I am having trouble generating PDF files with large amount of shapes created
with graphics2d.
Is there a way to write file directly to disk to avoid memory problems?
tnx
